Perry Noble quote

Jesus came to give us a purpose in life and a place in heaven. That’s the heart of the gospel.

A Christmas Message from Ethan

Dear Friends,

The Christmas season seems to approach faster and faster with each passing year. With the chaos of shopping, baking, and those awkward family get-togethers, it is easy to overlook those who made this year another great success. So before I forget, thank you.

This year gave birth to new projects and fresh ideas. I am passionate about small business and that passion is seen through my creative company Phase 5 Designs. I love working with the do-gooders, the entrepreneurs and the ones who want to see change. Working alongside our clients, we create a story that won’t go unnoticed. Through creative design and effective communication, we bring ideas to life. We have launched new websites, campaigns, and branding this year and will continue to help organizations grow in 2013.

My printing company, www.PrintSmart.cc launched an online store-front for you to browse our selection, compare prices, pay, and track your order. We are continually adding more products online. For your business, we offer business cards, brochures, postcards, and all sorts of banners. For your home, we offer custom mugs, mounted canvas prints, and personal note cards. We are your one-stop shop for all things print. In fact, we are the exclusive print supplier for many non-profit agencies, political campaigns, churches, and small businesses. Next time you think print, think www.PrintSmart.cc.

Currently, I am taking classes online at Liberty University, perusing a BS in Business-Marketing. Part of my reason to study online this year as opposed to study on the campus in Virginia was an opportunity to serve as the Event Chair for Relay For Life of South Kitsap for a final year. In 2012, we raised $172,302.15, more than $42,000 above our original goal. This year we are on track to raise $200,000 to help fund and further the mission of the American Cancer Society. I have seen cancer take the life of too many loved ones. But the one thing cancer can’t destroy is our hope and that hope is fueled by your continued support for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. We’re making great strides in the fight against cancer and for that I thank you.

In 2011, because of your support, my companies were able to give 17 cents from every dollar back charity, supporting the causes that make our community and world a better place. Your support has helped relieve Olobo Emmanuel, a child from Soroti, Uganda, break free from the chains of poverty through Compassion International. Additionally, we supported Young Life in its mission to reach kids around the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. For the second year in a row, we were honored to sponsor the Port Orchard Jingle Bell Run/Walk to help fight arthritis. And my personal favorite, we gave to the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission to help people stay well, get well, find cures, and fight back.

As this year draws to a close, I reflect back on the memories we shared and look forward to all the fun, laughter, and great memories yet to be made. From my family to yours, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year.

Warm Christmas Wishes,

Ethan Kalkwarf
